Lucy & Ethel Sponsorship

Lucy and Ethel came to us from a shelter in eastern Oregon where they were dumped by their former owner on their 15th birthday.  Their owner had to go out of town for six months, and it was easier to take the dogs to a shelter than to arrange care for them.  We thought that they would be with us for only a few months, but they have done very well in their long-term medical needs foster home.  At 17 years of age, they are still going strong.  They have some heart problems and and under the care of a cardiologist, but overall, they continue to thrive.  Your donation will help provide for their ongoing care.
